How many Weddings a year?

244,710 couples were married in 2005 in the UK, and according to the Office for National Statistics, this is down from 2004's figure of 273,070.

So is this 56,270 people who failed to find true love? Is it just that we are leaving it until later in life to get married? what's your opinion, please let us know by either adding a comment to this article, or by contacting us through the 'contact us' link
