Many people want to say with the traditional sugared almonds as favors because of what they represent traditionally. I recently attended a Wedding where the couple getting married wanted to do something completely different to tradition. Another popular choice in alternative favors are small bottles of your chosen liquor, mini bottles of wine or mini bottles of champagne. Another Wedding I attended this summer has chosen an Italian theme so they had small bottles of Italian liquors as favors. They looked lovely on the tables with a small piece of ribbon tied around each one (to link in the Wedding colour scheme). They all the guest seemed to love the idea.

Chocolate is always a favorite with most people. You need to think about the time of year that your wedding is taking place as you don't want your favors to melt if your Wedding date is in the middle of the summer, look for summer friendly alternatives such as love hearts??? Having chocolate favors means that all your guests can enjoy them ... regardless of their ages. If you choose to have liquor chocolates remember that they are not suitable of those guests aged under 18.
