What happens when a husband and wife decide to start a blog and share the ups and downs of their marriage with the world? Thousands of visitors from all walks of life become loyal readers and join in the conversation. Say hello to WifeAdvice.com.

When a person decides to start their own blog, it's nothing unique. However, when a married couple decides to start a blog and share the ups and downs of their marriage with the world, word spreads. And that's exactly what has happened in the days since Chris and Nancy Clark decided to create their first joint-blog; WifeAdvice.com (http://www.wifeadvice.com).

What started as a place for the couple to share a few humorous anecdotes with friends, has morphed into a full-blown community of loyal readers, who in turn offer their own advice to the couple. Advice that is welcomed... and possibly needed.

The Clarks' online personalities take two distinct paths. Nancy is known for bringing a balanced perspective to married life. While Chris however has shown his lack of marital skills on more than one occasion.

Take the couple's honeymoon for instance. When Nancy looked Chris in the eyes and asked him to rate her looks on a scale of 1 to 10, Chris thought about it for a moment and answered... 6.

"I was incredulous, but he stuck by his response, arguing that we shouldn't start out our marriage being dishonest with each other," said Nancy. "'Besides,' he said, 'I'm about a 6 too, so we're a perfect match.' That was the moment that started it all, and there hasn't been a dull moment since."

While the site is named WifeAdvice.com, the Clarks are the first people to admit they're not experts on anything.

"I read a lot of blogs where authors attempt to pass themselves off as experts, and some even portray themselves as a superior person," said Nancy. "We take the exact opposite approach; people are drawn to our site, because we are admitting to our failures, having a laugh, and learning from them."

And it's the honesty that shines from the blog, which is perhaps what keeps readers coming back for more. In less than a year, WifeAdvice.com has already been nominated for national blog awards, received attention from newspapers and local news stations, and become ground zero for other married couples to discuss their marital issues.

"I really just started publishing these stories on a whim, thinking a couple friends might get a kick out of it," said Chris. "But when I found out that even my father-in-law likes reading it--that's when I knew we had something special to offer."
