Deciding where to get married is easier for some couples rather than for others. If you have grown up dreaming of that Church Wedding the decision has been made for you, subject to the necessary permissions need to marry in the Church of your choice. You should speak to your Reverend about your wish to marry in the church or email our very own Resident Reverend if you have any questions or need any further guidance.

However, not everyone chooses to marry in a Church. Some opt for a Civil Ceremony. You used to have to get married in your local Registar office if you wanted a Civil Ceremony, this is no longer the case.

You can choose from Stately homes, Country houses, Hotels, gardens and even beaches. If you are opting for this option check with your local Register office about having banns published and booking the Registrar. You can expect to only be able to book a Registrar a maximum of 12 months in advance, so its worth making sure that this is sorted before you book everything else for your special day.

Enjoy!
