Bride and Groom on Beach

I've had a number of emails of the last few days about ideas for Wedding Dresses for Beach Weddings. These emails have all asked for suggestions with budgetary restraints. So, here are some ideas that will hopefully help?

1. Consider the climate

If you are getting married on a beach, think about the material the dress is made from. You ideally need a light weight fabric like chiffon to keep you cool.

2. Side of dress

If you are flying to your wedding day destination, be realistic about the size of your dress. It needs to be packable! Some airlines offer the option of booking extra space if you are taking a large dress. If you opt for something lightweight its more likely to fit into your suitcase, so Hubby can't see it!

3. How does it travel

When considering materials, not only are you looking for light weight, but something that won't get too creased is a must!

I've had a look in high street stores, to meet budget requirements of under £500.

Monsoon:

Johanna Bridal Dress, priced at £225. A fitted Silk bodice with a lace skirt with ivory beads, Silk georgette sash at the centre of the back. A beautiful Ivory dress!

Marks and Spencer:

Autograph occasions Embroidered Mesh Wedding Dress, currently on special offer at the bargain price of £99. A cream coloured strapless embroidered dress. With a tie around the waist and the slight 'A' line of the skirt. This dress isn't floor length, so idea if you plan to stand on the sand!

Debenhams

Ivory flower corsage one shoulder bridal dress priced at £200. Its a simple fitted dress that is floor length and had a stylish flower detail on one shoulder strap. In a lightweight chiffon type material this dress is ideal for a beach Wedding.

All of these dresses are available to buy online from the named shops.

Good Luck!
