Sorry its taken me so long to get back to you - I've been chatting with my contacts to try and get you the best options. Right, High Street wise there are a few options:

Monsoon, have a selection of fabulous dresses that could easily be packed for you to take with you. A particular favorite of mine is the Poppy wedding dress priced at £135. Its lightweight, simple and could easily be teamed with accessories once you get to Vegas. any excuse for a shopping trip in Vegas.

Debenhams too has a few you might like to consider. It depends of course whether you fancy a certain style (e.g) fishtail or A-line? but I do like the Ivory Flower corsage dress with one shoulder strap. Priced at £200, again is light weight, easy to pack and simple, with the corsage detailing it gives it that something extra.

If you fancy something a little more cocktail like, to complement Vegas. Check out the Victoria Jane Taffeta Dress at Coast, priced at £115 - its below the knee and has detachable straps. this one is taffeta but could easily be packed for your travels.

Alternatively, have you thought of having a dress ready for you on arrival?? I assume that you'll be in Vegas a bit before you marry in which case have a look at /www.celebrationslvnv.com they offer a service in Las Vegas to produce a dress in less than three weeks.If you choose something that doesn't need much alteration you could have it much sooner. Have a look at their less than 3 weeks section, you could always arrange for concierge at your hotel to pick it up?? It might be more expensive, but you wouldn't have to carry it with you and you could have something that would really surprise your man! They do bridesmaids dresses in a hurry too, so you could always opt for something far simplier just labelled as a bridesmaids dress.

Or you could hire a dress in Las Vegas. www.tuxone.com offer dresses off the peg from US sizes 0- 28, that you can hire for the Wedding, they even do Male attire so you could get your man dressed up as part of the package. you could always go in when you get to Las vegas and pick one to wear. If you do choose to do this, ring them or email them before you go so you are sure that they'll have something in your size and something in a style you'd be happy to wear. One of their marketing points is avoiding having to travel with a dress! Hiring it would also meanyou didn't have to bring it back with you or carry it!
