Bridesmaids Duties

When it comes to getting married Bridesmaids can cause complications for any bride based on them wanting to choose their own dresses, choosing the colour of the dress and then the old favorite of who pays for who.

So what should you expect from your bridesmaids? Well, all brides are different, some want their bridesmaids to be there to choose the dress, organise the hen night and be involved in every step of the planning process. Others, on the other hand need them to turn up on the way and provide support as needed.

Basically, it comes does to any Bride you need to be specific about what you want your bridesmaids to do. That might be explaining these requirements when you ask them to be a bridesmaid - only you know what your bridesmaids are like and who would undertake duties or not.

If you are a bridesmaid, be supportive. The bride will need support the whole run up to the Wedding - do as she asks, I'm sure she'll have to return the favour one day! And it is her day after all!
