Celebrity Hens & Stags

Would you trust a celebrity to plan your last night as a singleton?

Series two of Wedding TV’s reality series, Celebrity Hens and Stags, is brand new and exclusive to the channel this January. And here's their own proposal to prospective wedding couples...

'With many brave boyfriends having popped the question on New Year’s Eve, Celebrity Hens & Stags is the perfect inspiration for all brides and husbands-to-be. And for those viewers who are not getting married, the series provides some of the best calorie-free entertainment you’ll find all January!

Featuring famous faces such as Pete Bennett from Big Brother, WAG Danielle Lloyd, Neil and Christine Hamilton, party girl Bianca Gascoigne, Blazin’ Squad member Kenzie and former Hollyoaks actor Paul Danan, each episode will see a celebrity paired with a stag or hen party. The celebrity will act as chief organiser and it’s up to them to get the hen and stag parties started. Working with leading hen and stag organisers Redseven, the celebrities will be in charge of some demanding clients!

Episode one, saw Pete lap dancing in Newcastle; in week two Danielle was be playing It’s A Knockout in Bristol; episode three will see Neil and Christine Hamilton checking out an Adonis male cabaret show in Brighton; episode four sees Kenzie living it up in London at an MTV dance class; the penultimate episode will see Paul playing drinking games in an Irish bar in Marbella, and lastly Bianca will be travelling to Riga in Latvia.

Pete Bennett said: “I loved being back in front of the cameras again though I had to watch my language a bit! I was really happy because it turned out the Hen was a fan from my Big Brother series, so it was perfect. They were a great bunch of girls especially the bride’s mum who was great fun! The best bit for me though was the pole dancing. It turns out I was quite good, so maybe I'll take that up someday too!”

Redseven know only too well that brides are looking for a glamorous, classy and fun hen party. Redseven and Wedding TV decided to test some famous faces to see if they were truly always the life and soul of every party, even when the pressure is on.

Redseven’s Head Rep, Keith White said: “Partying like a celebrity is every bride’s dream. But by putting a celebrity in charge of a hen party means not only do they have to live up to Redseven’s reputation as a party expert, but they have to keep an entire party-hungry group happy for a whole weekend – no pressure then!”

Will the surprised hen and stag parties welcome the addition of someone famous to their celebrations; will they steal the bride-to-be’s moment and will the celebrity take their leadership duties seriously? Tune in this January to find out.'
