The National Wedding Show’s charity initiative – Brides at Work in aid of Breakthrough Breast Cancer – is now just two months away and will take place on Friday 17th September. So visit www.breakthrough.org.uk/bridesatwork to sign up and show your support today!
Brides at Work is open to all and we encourage everyone to get involved, no matter when the wedding took place or indeed if it is more of a work in progress or a distant dream.... brides, grooms, bridesmaids, mothers of the bride and maid of honours are all invited to take part. For those who don't feel quite up to wearing a wedding dress, there are plenty of other options available – so there is no excuse not to get involved!
For those of you who have not yet signed up, you can;
* Take part in Brides at Work yourself – if you fancy donning your wedding dress and showing your big day look to your colleagues for charity, sign up and get sponsored - Visit www.breakthrough.org.uk/bridesatwork to register for your fundraising pack.
* Order your Diamon’T t-shirt or Rose Garden Accessories headpiece NOW to ensure you have your t-shirt ready to wear to work, school, around the house, to the gym on the 17th September and join the 100’s of others who will be supporting the Brides at Work day!
* Rally up your staff and friends – why not take the pressure off and dress up and travel into work together as a group and make a real day of it
* Go one step further and organise an office wedding party, list the key players, bride, groom, bridesmaid, mother of the bride/groom, flower girl etc... and draw the roles from a hat. Could create some interesting brides! Sign up and get sponsored by all those who work for and with you!
* Organise a mini wedding cake themed sale in the office – cupcakes always go down a treat
* Ask everyone in your office where they went on their honeymoon and ask people to pay £1 to match each person to their honeymoon destination. You could get a prize for the most correct answers.
* Download our Brides at Work button to place on your website to show your support
Whatever your fundraising activity, however you get involved - sign up now for your registration pack by visiting www.breakthrough.org.uk/bridesatwork
