The night before the Best Man's Speech (and the wedding)

So it's the night before the Best Man's speech. Oh... and the wedding is tomorrow too! The Best Man's speech is written, practiced, edited, and practiced again. I will post a copy of the speech (post wedding) on the Best Man Speech page here on NewlyWeds-UK.

So how do you prepare for the big day when you are the Best Man? I think you should spend the day looking after the Groom, making sure the Ushers' suits have been picked up, making sure they all match and getting as many of the Ushers as you can to try on their suits to make sure they fit!

During the evening, those of the wedding party who are staying in the hotel, all met for dinner, we all got to know each other, and relax ready for the wedding day tomorrow. This is a great opportunity for the Best man to gauge the potential audience... have you aimed Best Man Speech at the right level? It also gives the best man a chance to make friends with tomorrow's audience, if the crowd are on your side, then the Best Man Speech will go a whole lot easier!

Right then... back to the bar for some sleeping liquids.
