Wedding day survival kit - advice from EnglishRose events

It is the big day, everything is planned down to the last detail and everyone is praying that nothing goes wrong. But what if something does happen, what if the groom is a bit worse for wear or a wedding hair style starts to fall out?

Heres where the 'wedding survival kit' comes in, to help ensure any incidents or problems can be resolved quickly.

EnglishRose events is here to share the contents of that survival kit, so you can fully prepare for any eventuality:

  • safety pins (great for quick outfit fixes)
  • hair grips
  • mini can of hairspray
  • mini perfume
  • breath freshner
  • eye drops
  • comb
  • tissues
  • small bottle of whiskey, to calm the nerves, although I prefer to use...
  • rescue remedy (great natural way of calming down)
  • stain devil wipes
  • plasters
  • pain killers
  • clear nail varnish (to stop a ladder in a pair of tights or even touch up a damaged nail)
  • nail file
  • super glue
  • chocolate bars (incase of low blood sugar)
  • bottle of water
  • hand held fan
  • CD of the wedding music (in case the musician doesnt show you can pop it in and not have to walk down the aisle in silence)
  • another great item in the kit is a few flowers (fake or real)in case of gaps in the flowers or in the hair styles, or to cover stains on clothing.

The list can of course go on and on, but these are the basics.

If you would rather have someone else worry about these items and potential incidents, then you can work with a wedding consultant, we are here to relieve you of the hassle and pressure. Visit the EnglishRose Events website for more information on our services.
