Big Brother Wedding - Uncivil Ceremony

I've heard on the grapevine today, news that Channel 4 and the producers of the reality television program Big Brother are planning to host a live wedding in the Big Brother House for the next series, to be shown on television this summer.

This raises all sorts of issues and I can't think of any positive ones. The plan is (allegedly) that should a couple 'fall in love' within the (up to approximately) 9 weeks that they reside in the Big Brother House, then the couple will be offered an all expense-paid white wedding to be held in the Big Brother House or Garden. The other housemates will be the wedding guests and the wedding ceremony witnesses.

Let's just hope that this is all publicity designed to attract new viewers to the show and that the producers treat marriage with the respect it deserves
