How do you feel about the snow? As long as you can look out of the window at it - or play out in it, it's wonderful but it does scupper travelling plans. We talk about White Christmas but it might put a whole new meaning to the phrase White wedding (if they can all make it to the church on time).
The snow didn't spoil the big day for Karen Rawlins and Jonathan Lee whose wedding plans in Kent were saved after the snowed-in couple issued a radio appeal. Karen and Jonathan, from Dartford, feared they would have to postpone their dream wedding in the picturesque setting of Dode Church. But their plans were saved by an appeal on BBC Radio Kent as a string of kind-hearted listeners offered to transport 45 guests along a narrow lane to the ceremony in 4x4 vehicles.
It just shows how difficulties bring out community spirit. What a lovely story to warm the heart at this Christmas time.
