Twittering about weddings

I thought I was in the minority getting all of a twitter about weddings, but I read a story in The Week about a Bridegroom who interrupted his wedding to update his status on Facebook to say that he had just got married.

He finished his post with the immortal line "Must go - time to kiss the Bride"

Well at least he had lots of witnesses to the fact that he got married voluntarily (that's what makes a wedding legal). Hopefully his new wife was encouraged by his enthusiasm and the Vicar managed to pray with them among their social networking.
