Dear Resident Reverend,
I haven't been christened, and I've never been to church, I'm marrying a Hindu and would love to get married in a church. Is this possible, what churches can I get married in if possible, also what will I have to do to be able to do this?
Thanks Reverend
Carly

Hi Carly
The fact that you are not baptised is not a barrier to you getting married but you would only be eligible for marriage in your local parish church. The service would be a Christian ceremony.
The fact that your fiancee is Hindu is not a problem to us, but if he is not a British citizen then you need to know if your marriage would be legally recognised should you return to his home country.
It sounds like you may have a few family discussions ahead
Hope all goes well
warm regards
Jan
