Christmas Carols?

Dear Resident Reverend,
we are getting married next dec, and one of our friends suggested having carols instead of hymns? is this an option?

Yes it is absolutely fine.
You don't actually have to have any hymns - but the choice of carols sounds perfectly appropriate
