Getting married outside my parish with a Methodist Vicar?

Dear Resident Reverend,

Between the ages of 4 and 11 (possibly later) I attended a Methodist Church. This is a religion which I have continued to follow although I have not attended church. I do not have a local Methodist Church but I visited an Anglican church some time ago and expressed interest in holding my wedding there. Is it possible that I can get married in a church outside of my Parish and have a Methodist Vicar carry out the ceremony?

Thank you

Rox

Hi Rox
You would have to have some sort of a qualifying link to a church in order to marry there if you don't live in the parish.
I'm sure there must be a methodist church in your area. If not then do make enquiries as we do have strong links between churches and it might be a joint building or a Local Ecumenical Partnership

Sorry if that sounds complicated. If you ask at your local church they will point you in the right direction
