We'd like to get married before our baby is born
Dear Resident Reverend,
I have been with my girlfriend for 4years and we would like to get married before our little one is born (he is due to be born in march).
We have been to a C of E church but we were told we cant get married until attending the church for 6 months. Is there any way of getting married before the baby is born or is there anyway of getting married before the 6 months?

Congratulations and I hope you have a happy healthy baby.
If you go to your local parish church you can get married very quickly. It's only if you go to a different church that the 6 months rule comes into play.
You'll have to get your skates, though, on if you want to get married before March.
