Dear Resident Reverend,
My girlfriend and myself are Zimbabweans living in this country on student visas for at least two years now. we have gone through with the traditional marriage process in our country of origin and now would like to marry legally. We are both Christians and are seeking advice on the best way to acquire a marriage certificate and the costs involved.

If you've been living in a parish for 2 years you can just go and see your local vicar though they will need proof that you are not legally married to other people.
Take the documentation you have.
Prices vary but basic costs are from £320
