I am struggling with finding a Wedding Dress. Everyone keeps telling me that when you put 'the' dress on, I'll know its the one!
Problem is ... that I am a size 22 and as its a second marriage we're a little short of cash. So I have a budget of £300. I've tried looking around the shops but can't really find anything that suits my size, I don't want to ask because I feel embarrassed about my size especially as most shops might go to an 18 but usually not a 22.
Please help me ... I'm losing motivation over it!

Firstly, you are not alone. I receive many emails from brides who want to find the dress of their dreams but are struggling because of their size or shape. You mustn't feel embarrassed, we are all different shapes and sizes, its something to celebrate not hide from. And besides, your Finance loves you so much he wants to get married ... what more do you need!
Right, down to business. Plus size Wedding dresses are available in Wedding dress shops but expect there to be a limited selection. Most Wedding dress shops will have the majority of the dresses in around the 14/ 16 sizes because thats the most popular size. However, they might have a limited number in the 18+ sizes I can assure you that there will also be a limited number in the size 10 and under too. Prices will vary in Wedding dress shops and you will be very lucky to stay within your budget.
However, in having a good look round for you, I stumbled across a brilliant selection that are easily within budget and available on the high street. Evans have just launched their own bridal selection which offers a good selection to shapes and sizes, go and try a few on .... my personal favorite is the Bridal Taffeta Prom Midi Dress priced at £120, and available in sizes 14 - 30!
