Wedding attire - military clothing

Me and my partner are planning an 18th century wedding we were wondering if it is legal for him to get married in a military uniform of the period?

Hi Tarso
There aren't any particular dress codes when marrying in church apart from obvious decency codes. This is an unusual question but I don't see why not - though the Vicar may draw the line at any swords or weapons!!
