Can a blessing for future children be included?
Is there an Anglican Blessing that is ever incorporated into the service for as a blessing for the couple's future for family/children (for a couple - first marriage - no children).
We saw this done at another wedding and it was quite beautiful, but of course don't have the wedding and can't track anything down.

Can a blessing for future children be included?
Hi
One of the set prayers is as follows:
May they nurture their family with devotion,
see their children grow in body, mind and spirit
and come at last to the end of their lives
with hearts content and in joyful anticipation of heaven.
Lord of life and love:
All: hear our prayer.
You may want more than this - I'm sure if you ask the Minister to include an extra prayer of blessing that would be fine. Take a look at the Sample service on this site and think where it might fit. THere are things we have to include - but always room for little extra things.
Hope you can organise the prayers to suit.
