Where should I have Banns read?

I wanted to get married in a church which is not in my or my partners parish. (Currently both still living with parents)

After seeking your advice previously we decided to attend worship at this church regularly for 6 months. The vicar agreed to marry us at this church and we have filled in relevant paper work given to us by the church.

We understand we have to have Banns read in our parish churches and the church we are getting married in. However we are getting married in August and planning to buy a house together before this - in the local area but not 100% on location until we find the right house. Where will we need to have the Banns read?

Thanking you in anticipation.
Amy

Hi Amy
They'll need to be read where you live at the time of application and at the place where the wedding takes place. They only need to be read within the three months prior to the wedding so you can check this out nearer the time. Your Vicar will advise you.
Kind regards
Jan Harney (Rev'd)
