Dear Resident Reverend,
I was wondering if you could give us some advice. I am English and my husband to be is German. We are getting married in England in an Anglican ceremony conducted in English, but we would both like to include some German. Do you have any ideas how we should go about this? We thought about having a reading in German, and providing translations for non-german speaking guests. Do you think that is a good idea?

Hi Elizabeth
I think that's a great idea!
Why not chat with the Vicar and see how much of the service can be translated? Obviously there isn't time for all of it but see what you can negotiate.Perhaps one of the final blessings could be in German with the translation printed for people.
It's lovely to make people feel included like this
