How can a Catholic couple (not English nationality) marry in a Church of England that is not in their parish?

Dear Sir or Madam,

For the past week I tried to seek information (without having much success) on the following matter:

My fiance and I, who are both German, fell in love with the English countryside since moving to London. That's why we are very eager to get married there rather than in the parish we live in. We are both catholic and our preferred church is a Church of England. Therefore I would like to enquire if this is possible at all and what we can do to make it happen.

I would be delighted if you could provide me with the answer to the question. I am very much looking forward to any kind of information.

Kind regards.

Hi Caudia
If you both live in London then you can marry in England and in the Church of England being Roman Catholic is not a barrier.

However you are only really eligible to marry in your local parish. Unless you have a family link or alternatively can live in the countryside area for 15 days (in which case you can apply for a licence to marry there).

Go and have a chat with the local Vicar for a more detailed explanation of this
warm regards
