Can a vicer marry you in a church other than his own

We have a family friend who is a vicar, he blessed my mothers new ring after
she had to have the original removed and did my mothers funeral service last
year. It would mean alot to my partner and I if he did our wedding service.
The problem is he lives a 100miles from us and this would cost us a fortune
to get everyone to him. Would he be able to wed us at our local church?

Yes it is possible for him to be involved in the service, but you would need to get the permission and the goodwill of the Vicar in situ because he or she is the registrar for that venue.
If you explain how important this is to you I'm sure you'll be able to arrange something to please everyone involved.
