Hello,
I am Bea, my fiancee and I are planning on getting married this summer..not that we've booked anywhere yet!
We already have a child together, and were wondering if it is still possible to get married in our local church or if this will cause problems. Neither of us have been married (or divorced..!) and have been living together for the past few years..
Any advice would be great,
thanks,

Hi Bea
Don't worry at all. Having a child is not a barrier to getting married in the Church.
You are clearly already committed to each other and we are delighted that you want to take this step of public commitment and to ask God's blessing on your marriage and your family life.
Just be honest with the Vicar so that your little one's name can be included in the prayers.
warm regards
Jan
