The Money Question

Hi there, i am getting married on August 28th and i was planning on paying my church fees with a cheque, can you please let me know if this is possible and who i should make it payable to.

Please check with your Vicar about this - but usually they prefer cash as it has to go to lots of individuals, Certainly the organist and verger are paid in cash. If you have other musicians, bellringers etc the same would apply.

Then some money is the ministers fee, some PCC fees and the rest goes to the diocese. So you can see that it's helpful to be paid in cash. Clearing this at the rehearsal is the best option so no-one is juggling with money on the day
