My name is Julie Farren. I am a professionally trained Make-up Artist and Nail Technician and I am based in the Oxfordshire area. Up until the age of 30 years old, I was working in various administrative jobs including working as a research services assistant at Oxford University. However I became dissatisfied with my working life and decided to follow a dream of becoming a professional make-up artist. I started with the basics and trained at the Oxford International School of Beauty and achieved an NVQ Beauty Specialist Qualification in July 1999. I also attended and passed a foundation course at the Creative Nail Academy which taught me how to apply nail extensions of the highest quality.

Throughout the following years I have increased my knowledge by attending a variety of different courses, including further masterclasses run by the Creative Nail Academy. I attended and passed the Ellisons Academy course on Bridal and Special occasion Make-up. During the academic year 2003/2004 I attended Solihull College and achieved a VTCT in Theatrical and Media Make-up.

In Dec 2001 I bought a Hair, Beauty and Nail Salon based in Banbury, Oxfordshire, which I have developed into a thriving business. Although I am based in Banbury on a daily basis I do offer a totally mobile service and can travel to any destination you name nationwide (Travel expenses may be charged).
