Wedding Cake

Dear Elle ... I want a Traditional Wedding but do I have to have fruit cake? ... I need help form the online Wedding Organiser.
Dear Elle,
I am getting married in July and have finally got round to trying to pick the Wedding cake. We have opted for a traditional style wedding, the church, horse and carriage, top hats etc. But ... but my Fiance and myself really don't like fruit cake and my Mum keeps telling me that fruit cake is traditional and it won't be a traditional wedding if we don't have fruit cake.
Is what she is saying true? What can I do?
Thanks,
Imogen

What Colours should you choose for your Wedding?
Choosing the colours for your Wedding can be a very important decision. Particularly as you base most of the decisions for the big day on them, everything from the colour of the bridesmaids dresses to the Wedding flowers, its very important to get it right the first time!
Firstly consider the colours you like. If you love Orange put it on the list, equally though, if you hate Orange cross it off. Come up with your top 5 or 6 colours so you have some options to consider. read more »
