Glo's top ten tips for two weeks before your Wedding

Glo logo

Two weeks before the wedding:

1. Try to get 8 hours of sleep a night. Getting regular good nights sleep can help improve your skin tone and also help you to de-stress so that you can totally glow on your big day. If you have trouble sleeping, avoid sweets or caffeine before bed and try relaxation exercises such as yoga or meditation. Aromatherapy can also help, so try a few drops of lavender on your pillow and it should help you sleep like a baby. read more »

Dear Elle .... I need a plus size Wedding Dress for under £300 ... I need help from the online Wedding Organiser

bridesmaids in a row

Dear Elle,

I am struggling with finding a Wedding Dress. Everyone keeps telling me that when you put 'the' dress on, I'll know its the one!

Problem is ... that I am a size 22 and as its a second marriage we're a little short of cash. So I have a budget of £300. I've tried looking around the shops but can't really find anything that suits my size, I don't want to ask because I feel embarrassed about my size especially as most shops might go to an 18 but usually not a 22.

Please help me ... I'm losing motivation over it!

Thank you,

Kirstie

What Colours should you choose for your Wedding?

champagne.jpg

Choosing the colours for your Wedding can be a very important decision. Particularly as you base most of the decisions for the big day on them, everything from the colour of the bridesmaids dresses to the Wedding flowers, its very important to get it right the first time!

Firstly consider the colours you like. If you love Orange put it on the list, equally though, if you hate Orange cross it off. Come up with your top 5 or 6 colours so you have some options to consider. read more »

Church Blessings

bride_veil.jpg

Dear Reverend,
My fiance and I plan to marry aboard (private ceremony) and then hold a traditional wedding ceremony or 'church blessing' in the UK for friends and family. What are the rules/regulations according to the church of england regarding me walking down the aisle? Can I not walk down by myself and meet my 'husband' at the alter?

Many Thanks,
Ericag
