We have a family friend who is a vicar, he blessed my mothers new ring after
she had to have the original removed and did my mothers funeral service last
year. It would mean alot to my partner and I if he did our wedding service.
The problem is he lives a 100miles from us and this would cost us a fortune
to get everyone to him. Would he be able to wed us at our local church?
Hi,
I hope you can help me, we are planning on being married in a local Anglican church which is special to my fiance and I, we fulfil the criteria for having a connection to the parish so i cant see that there will be a problem there (the wedding wont be for about 3 years so its still in the planning stage).
The problem is the vicar of the parish we have chosen, I just don't like the man, for many and various reasons I won't go into here! And I wouldn't feel comfortable having him marry us.
I have been with my Partner almost 8 years. We have 2 children together and would like to get married and I really wanted a church wedding. We have both been married before but not in a church, I felt very strongly that this time I wanted to, as living in this village we do have great connection with the church and haven't felt like this since I was young. We don't attend Sundays but are there lots for School Worships and other occasions.
My fiance's father is a Church of England Vicar and my fiance is set on his father performing the service. However I have always dreamed of a castle wedding so have been searching for the ultimate combination on one site which is very difficult.
Dear Sir or Madam,
For the past week I tried to seek information (without having much success) on the following matter:
Hello, I hope you may be able to help.
Catholic and COE Wedding Question (URGENT)

URGENT:
Thank you Vicar. I posted this in the wrong area.
I have a client asking if there would be any problem with her marrying a catholic in a COE church. I responded that in her own parish it would be fine and then she countered with:
Dear Resident Reverend,
I am supposed to be married on Saturday but due to various uncertainties and the fact I am pregnant I was wondering if we could just have a blessing instead.
