Where do you seat the Vicar at the wedding breakfast?
by katiesarahabram | 24 March, 2010 - 18:43We are having a church wedding and have invited the Vicar and his wife to the Wedding breakfast and evening celebration - they have accepted.
We are now working on the seating plan and currently plan to seat them with a table of close family friends. is this acceptable? My mother in law to be has said that iit is etiquette to seat the Vicar at the top table but I don't want to separate him from his wife and we are also limited for space on the top table.
I just want to check what is acceptable and do we need to alter our plans?
