Saddleworth’s largest wedding & bridal fair returns at the White Hart, Sunday October 17th 2010, 12noon – 4pm. Come along and meet a wonderful array of exhibitors, many of which are new to our fair. Our theme is Modern Vintage: traditional - but with a contemporary twist! Designer catwalk show headlined by Blush Bridal Boutique, winners of Living TV’s Four Weddings, and featuring designers such as Ian Stuart and Hollywood Dreams. Want to organise the flowers for your wedding but don't know where to start then come along to our big bridal flowers day.

You will learn how to put together a bouquet and get hints and tips on how to treat your chosen flowers.

Also how to make matching buttonholes and corsages for the wedding party

Advice about flowers to bring will be sent to participants in advance.

Cost £35, refreshments and all floral sundries included, but you will need to bring your own flowers.

I've had a number of emails of the last few days about ideas for Wedding Dresses for Beach Weddings. These emails have all asked for suggestions with budgetary restraints. So, here are some ideas that will hopefully help?

If you are getting married on a beach, think about the material the dress is made from. You ideally need a light weight fabric like chiffon to keep you cool.

Getting married is a costly business. You have been very sensible in determining your budget before planning the big day.

The cost of any Wedding really depends on the numbers you want to invite.

I would suggest that you opt for a small but intimate Wedding. Your Church will charge to get married there but if you just have the basic options you can keep the cost down. Alternatively you might like to opt for a Register Office instead?

Planning a Wedding doesn’t have to cost you millions. There is a huge amount of ‘extra stuff’ that links into Weddings - its not always essential! The skill you need is being able to recognise what is essential to making the day exactly what you want it to be.

Of course, many little girls have dreamt of getting married in a castle and flying by helicopter to the reception on a yacht at sea, it does of course never rain and your hair, makeup and dress remain perfect all day!
