A symbol of marital peace

Weddings are full of symbolism and we've just discovered a beautiful idea for those of you who are considering a wedding on a picturesque Greek Island. The Dove's Nest was set up by Gerry Powell in 2008. Here is the story behind her venture:

"I bought some land on the Island of Kefalonia a year previously and the area, ( which I didnt know at the time ), was known by the Locals as 'Peristerias' which means land of the Doves.

The Wedding Wording Wizard: a tool for brides to figure out their wedding invitation wording!

From the NWD Magazine Mailbag - we have a marketing company that works with Optimalprint who wanted to say the following:

We created a tool for brides to figure out their wedding invitation wording! I think it's actually really cute. It might need some tweaks (i'd love your reader's input).

A little bit about the Wedding Wording Wizard (that's what it's called).

  • mini questionnaire about bridal style, personal taste, reception plans etc.
  • it allows you to customize the invite, e.g. adding the names of bride and groom's parents, your date, venue, time etc.
