Congratulations, you are engaged to the partner of your dreams!

With many couples in todays society busy juggling careers and social lives it is understandable why some are simply unable to commit the amount of time required to create the wedding of their dreams.

Not to panic, that is where I come in.

How many Brides over the years have struggled to come to terms with the fact that their Husband-to-be has two left feet. How many brides-to-be have dreamed about taking to the dance floor for their first dance, their new husband holding them tight and embarking into an elaborate dance routine which wows and amazes the guests, everyone wide-eyed, and applauding furiously. 244,710 couples were married in 2005 in the UK, and according to the Office for National Statistics, this is down from 2004's figure of 273,070.

So is this 56,270 people who failed to find true love? Is it just that we are leaving it until later in life to get married? what's your opinion, please let us know by either adding a comment to this article, or by contacting us through the 'contact us' link

Is Marriage preparation useful, or is it something embarassing the Vicar wants us to take part in?

If the minister is offering marriage prep I'd recommend you take him or her up on it. Gone are the days when the Vicar gave you a stern talk full of metaphor that you just knew alluded to your sex life!

There is lots of good material available now and it's useful to work through some difficult issues now so that you are fully prepared. Even a simple question like "Will you let your mothers have a key to your house?" might well keep you going all night, but I think it's one of the most potent questions. Talk it out now rather than fight it out later

The editor of this fabulous on-line magazine has invited me to contribute and I'm really excited to see such a great project go live.

As someone who loves marrying people (I'm a Vicar)I'm delighted to be involved. I think it's a huge privilege to conduct a wedding service and pray for a couple who are just starting out.
