With Valentine's day fast approaching ... many may be thinking of proposing. However, traditionally women are not supposed to propose to their intended unless it is a leap year. Well, I have good news for all you ladies hoping to ask your partner to marry you. On the 29th February, Women, traditionally have the option to propose, as it only happens every 4 years are you happy to wait another 4 years?

If you're not asked on Valentine's day - you can always propose on the 29th February.

An independent research released today has revealed Britons think that romantic love is the single best way to achieve happiness.

The research features responses from over 1,000 Britons and was published to mark the launch of the ‘SnapHappy’ initiative by Snapfish, a leading online photo site and service by HP.

Relax - that's not my posting - but it was the subject of much discussion in the Sunday Times yesterday. It was based on a posting on a New York website and an anglicised version was written to see what response an ad like that would bring in England.

Last week I promised to tell you how it all began so here it is, the story of Ethical Weddings, or rather the story so far as it is a long way from being finished.

The question of course is where to begin. I could start when I first met my (now) husband, sitting on the floor in a grimy corridor in a hall of residence in Sheffield asking the usual questions about where we were from and which A-Levels we had done?

I could start four years later when we finally realised we were “more than just friends”?
