I read an amusing comment in the Reader's Digest today. A woman asked her husband if he wanted to renew their vows. He got so excited - he thought they had expired.
It made me smile, but it also reminded me to write about the renewal of vows. You can ask at the local church for this sort of short service at any time after your marriage, though people often opt for a special anniversary. You can just meet with the Vicar privately, or rally your friends and make an occasion of it.
